Attorney advertising and the responsible attorney

Rule 7.2 of the California Rules of Professional Conduct requires a communication of this kind to "include the name and address of at least one lawyer or law firm responsible for its content" (State Bar of California). That attorney is:
The State Bar publishes a profile for every attorney it admits, and his is at apps.calbar.ca.gov. Josh Kohanim is admitted in California only, and every rule described on this site is California's.
Not a certified specialist
Rule 7.4 provides that "a lawyer shall not state that the lawyer is a certified specialist in a particular field of law, unless the lawyer is currently certified as a specialist by the Board of Legal Specialization" or another State Bar accredited entity (State Bar of California). Josh Kohanim is not certified as a specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. This site accordingly never calls him or this firm a specialist, an expert, the best, or top rated. It states the fields we practice in, which rule 7.4 permits.
Not legal advice and not confidential
Until a fee agreement is signed we are not your lawyers and we are not tracking your deadlines. Fees and costs and no promises
No fee unless we recover. The percentage is set by a written fee agreement, not by statute. Business and Professions Code section 6147 requires that agreement to state the rate, to explain how costs and disbursements affect the fee and your recovery, and to state that the fee "is not set by law but is negotiable between attorney and client" (leginfo.legislature.ca.gov). Ask what you would owe if there is no recovery, and read the agreement before you sign it.
We do not predict or promise any result, and nothing here should be read as doing so. Business and Professions Code section 6157.2 prohibits a "guarantee or warranty of success regarding the outcome of a legal matter" in attorney advertising (leginfo.legislature.ca.gov).
